Special Education

Every child deserves a champion- an adult who believe in him!

This is my second year in teaching special education students. It is a pretty hard job, but also it is an amazing experience. I didn't have an idea about it three years earlier, but after getting the enough training, attending many workshops and doing a lot of research I started my journey.
What is amazing is that my school is the first school to open a center this big and important. I have never imagined how much love, care and encouragement can touch the students' hearts and change their personalities and make them more confident and willing to learn. Actually seeing my students become better is very encouraging to me and it really gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Students that have learning difficulties are finally not marked as dumb or not good enough anymore, they just learn in a different way. And what is important is that parents should understand this particular thing, their kids are normal but they need special education where they learn in a different way. Some parents don't accept this and refuse to put their children in such a center, which is very wrong and they should change the way they think about this.
